If you had been close by this morning, you would have heard a big SIGH from me as I began my daily devotions.
a
A SMILE followed the SIGH as my eyes focused on these words:

a
“Your SIGH is able to move the heart of Jehovah.” You would have smiled too, right?
a
I continued to read the words penned long ago by Charles Spurgeon:
a
“Your whisper can incline his ear to you. Your prayer can stay His hand, and your faith can move His arm. Do not think that God sits on high taking no account of you.”
a
I immediately remembered the Scripture that jumped out at me yesterday from Exodus3:25: “So God looked on the Israelites and was concerned about them.”
a
No doubt, there was quite a bit of SIGHing done by the Israelites. You think?
a
God looked…and was concerned. What a thought! What a God!
a
Exodus 4:31 describes the response of the Israelites to God’s concern:
“And when they heard that the Lord was concerned about them…they bowed down and worshipped.”
a
I ended my quiet time with another sigh—a sigh of worship.
